Conscious Conversations

Our Quality of Life Rests on the Quality of
Our Communication

Life is all about communication. How we communicate with ourselves and how we communicate with others significantly influences our self-value and the quality of personal and professional relationships. Through Conscious Conversations, we can learn the essential skills to formulate and deliver effective communication and be encouraged to align our language with Universal Principles to serve the well-being of individuals and communities.

Jai Inder is passionate about facilitating meaningful and insightful conversations at your school, healthcare facility or organisation. Her professional and personal life experience, and ability to connect to people with presence, listening, storytelling and humour sets the right tone for an empowering Conscious Conversation.

  • Inspiring conversations for young people.
  • Empowering conversations for women.
  • Compassionate conversations about living and dying.

Between a Rock and a Great Place

Universal wisdom is not only for yogis, scholars or religious authorities; it is for everyone. The teachings of Karam Kriya can be most beautiful, profound and life-changing when weaved into our daily lives in the simplest ways.

A Conscious Conversation with a child bullied at home or school or a patient who has received the news that they have a terminal illness are vessels of possibility that can connect someone to their intrinsic sense of self-worth and courage. While not changing the circumstance or event, a conversation can open the door to self-empowerment and clarity.

‘It’s not the life that matters; it is the courage you bring to it’. Hugh Walpole

It takes courage and self-responsibility to align with universal wisdom. It’s one thing to read about through spiritual teachings or a quote on social media, yet it is another thing to apply to our lives. Children naturally align with universal wisdom, yet this alignment often fades away as they grow and step further into their life journey. We live in a world of polarised contradictions, conflict and lack of transparency, and it is challenging to hear and see clearly.

Conscious Conversations embrace confronting yet necessary life themes. They are a powerful tool to spark inner awareness and to recognise that while circumstances are as they are, there are countless unknown ways to learn through any event and sail into self-empowering and transparent waters of growth and change.

Inspiring Youth

Nowadays, it’s unrealistic or naive to consider that government guidelines, schools and parents cover all the bases. The fact that the uber-rich are focusing on space more than the earth, governments direct more funds towards weapons than health and education, and many parents are overwhelmed with simply keeping up with the basics show us how strange it is.

However there is no need for the blame and shame game. It is time to embrace self-responsibility. Adults are sinking under pressure, no authority knows what to do anymore, and the uber-rich people have too much money and power for our own good! Teaching young people how to stay strong and steady, vibrate, and hold their inner space for themselves is an excellent idea.

A Universal Principle is equality, ‘all are equal’, and this understanding contributes to self-worth, esteem and the consciousness to care for others. Most young people value themselves through how they believe they are seen through the eyes of others, social media and marketing strategies. Conscious conversations help young people to discern what is important and not important, what is real and not real, and embrace the power of self-responsibility. During these conversations, Jai Inder also teaches meditation and breathing techniques that inspire connection to heart intelligence.

Empowering Women

The Pope and Dalai Lama have expressed that women hold the possibility of a thriving future in their hands, and many women know they can switch on. Yet we spend a lot of our time flowing passively along with the current game, comparing and judging each other, or are so exhausted that we place our heads in the sand and hope it will be different when we wake up in the morning.

Karam Kriya saying no

A woman’s power is in her ability to say no. Let’s look at this powerful paradox as an example. It would be a significant step towards change if women collectively stood up with willpower and did nothing. Women hold the buying power, so no matter your role in life, you can contribute to change simply by not buying into it. Imagine for a moment the impact on oil companies, corporate and tech giants, and the government’s capacity to purchase weapons if, for one week, women worldwide did not purchase petrol, household products, technology, or scroll through social media.

This one collective step of doing nothing will result in many changes and inspire recognition that women can demand change in health, education and the overall well-being of children and their communities.

I won’t be around for decades to watch it continue to devolve in the way it is, yet not all of you will have that luxury. When you are experiencing your last breath, whenever that will be, wouldn’t you like to be someone who contributed to a history book renaissance that extensively served future generations?

Living and Dying

Jai Inder is gently enthusiastic about holding compassionate conversations that will confront us with the natural truth that we all will one day die. Fear, suffering, powerful pharmaceutical agendas and overuse of our communities’ resources are all consequences of the inability to accept our temporary existence on the earth.

A Universal Principle is that the pure self is beyond death and does not die when the physical body does. If we can have the courage to explore this principle and learn to hold life and death equally in both hands, we will experience an absolute sense of peace, tolerance, happiness and service. It is a beautiful way to exist as a human being despite any challenging, confusing and confronting moments.
