About Ajoonee

Community and Collaboration

Community is known as the bridge between heaven and earth. Apart from my individual work efforts I’m blessed to collaborate with outstanding teachers and teacher trainers from the Karam Kriya International School of Kundalini Yoga and Applied Numerology.

I can’t speak for any of them, yet from my perspective, if you placed us all in one room, you’d be unlikely to find a more creative, humorous, fight-fair, future-orientated and hardworking bunch.

We are not perfect, and not every animal gets along with every other animal; however, we commit to aligning with “principles that made man”, rather than man-made principles. This commitment ultimately creates the right environment for any environment.

Why I Do What I Do

heart_outline

While existing in a challenging and rapidly changing world and living with metastatic breast cancer, I find myself at peace. I could claim some inner secret or new theory, yet the simple truth is that it all comes down, or up, to Universal Principles, which are the foundation of Karam Kriya. We can learn to align with and be governed by Universal Principles or default to aligning with man-made principles. When looking at the amount of world conflict, consumerism, and pressure on our youth to follow the corporate and tech giant directives, it’s not such a difficult choice.

Destiny is to teach what life has taught you, so it makes sense that my contribution of teaching, consulting and public speaking may result in others learning to live peacefully and utilise applied intelligence despite any challenge and life circumstance, which will ultimately benefit future generations.

Karam Kriya Community

In service of future generations.

About Jai Inder

Sat Naam, hello, I’m Jai Inder

I live in Australia, and I consider Portugal a home country too. I am a Karam Kriya consultant and trainer, and Kundalini Yoga teacher and teacher trainer. I work solo, consulting with individuals and groups online, in person, and with teams of international trainers from the Karam Kriya International School of Kundalini Yoga and Applied Numerology.

For the past 15 years, I have been fortunate to study under the guidance of my teacher Shiv Charan Singh, whose commitment to consciousness and the teachings of Karam Kriya has served many souls, including mine. As a result, I love my life-job despite any mundane aspects that come with it.

For over two decades, I’ve worked as a registered nurse specialising in emergency and oncology. This challenging career path and understanding of health, healthcare, and those facing illness has served me in teaching and consulting. If anything takes someone to the edge of their boundaries, it’s a health crisis. I never see it as a limitation, and it’s quite possibly the most significant opportunity one will receive in their lifetime. I deeply understand this as I live with metastatic breast cancer; therefore, this website is a story of both living and dying.

I’ve travelled the world extensively. Among various adventures, I enjoyed the depth and richness of the Middle East for five years while nursing in a hospital for Bedouin children. This world exploration continued in Sri Lanka, initially with nursing, and then transforming into enjoyable and hardworking intentions to build an organic food business. It was here that I met Shiv Charan Singh and began to study Kundalini Yoga and Karam Kriya. This destined meeting led me to the path of Guru Naanak, a conscious connection with many people around the globe, and a career that serves my life’s purpose.

So here I am, seemingly overnight, yet 52 years in the making. My story is not too different from anyone else’s; we are all individual parts of a beautiful painting, even though it is challenging to see this clearly in these times. Beyond this painting is a foundation of timeless and priceless truth, and knowing this, seeing this, and embodying this, is what makes me truly happy.

The most beautiful blessing has been eight nieces and nephews and other children in my life, some of whom are now adults and all of whom I love equally. I feel a deep sense of responsibility for future generations, which initiates my impulse to empower others. Aligning with Universal Principles is an integral part of self-empowerment, and this is where the guiding wisdom of Karam Kriya comes in. Knowing who you are not will reveal who you are, and knowing who you are will give you the courage to say no. This know-how of the no, which is a woman’s most powerful tool for change, will greatly serve our future generations.

Apart from that, I like to keep things simple. I sleep well at night, I love who I am, and my prayer is that my presence is a blessing and of service to others.

To serve is to hold our commitment no matter what circumstances we cross, no matter how strong the storm of fear or how great the doubt.
To love is to deliver your whole and true self, letting the heart go through the pain of stretching wider to reach the discovery there is nothing the light of God within cannot hold or deal with.
To excel is to let that light shine through every act you do.

Finding the Right Service and Yoga Training for You

Why Choose Ajoonee

heart_outline

While healthy competition can be good, it doesn’t feel right to imply Ajoonee is better than any other individual or group, because that isn’t the case. However, three points raised here will help you decide if Ajoonee is right for you.

Reality checks for teacher training

The path of consciousness is often described as a journey of heartfelt joy. There is a honeymoon period where, through teaching and practice, one discovers there is something more to them than mind patterns and past conditioning. Often after the honeymoon comes the dawning realisation that a lot of work and discipline is needed to clean up, wake up, grow up and keep up. So, rest assured that if you call about Level 1 Teacher Training, rather than aim for you to sign up, any input from Jai Inder will be to ensure that you know that self-initiation, commitment and responsibility are essential.

Empowerment of women and young people

Jai Inder is a paediatric registered nurse and spiritual teacher committed to empowering women and young people. She knows the know-how of the no, has a terminal illness that she is entirely at peace with and is the happiest person she knows even when experiencing challenging and painful life moments. That speaks for itself, yes?

Speaking from heartfelt experience

Jai Inder is deeply aware of the emotional pain and intense confrontation of being diagnosed with a terminal illness. Yet, the journey doesn’t have to continue this way. Despite all the challenges and confronting experiences, it can be a remarkable journey of peace, discovery and awakening.

Where We Roam

Jai Inder is based in Melbourne and travels to regional areas, as well as interstate.  However, our options to connect seem limitless in this finite world and she loves to meet with individuals and groups in-person and online.

Some people may feel that in person is better. While a warm handshake and a hug can go a long way, let’s remember that any form of communication is the base of all exchanges and relationships.

Testimonials

Kind Words About Ajoonee

heart_outline

These are some of the testimonials and kind words we have received from people who have attended some training and had other interactions with Ajoonee.

Integrity is the word I hear when I reflect upon my learning through the Karam Kriya School. I attribute this to Jai Inder, as she was my teacher during the training and still is to this day. I found the teachings honest, transparent, clear and open. I love the love Jai Inder embodies and sense it anchored into silence, stillness, discipline and teachings. My appreciation for her as a teacher has no bounds or limitations.

During the Level 1 Teacher Training my life completely shifted for the better. I worked through and overcome an extreme set of internal and external challenges and I would not have been able to do this without the guidance and support received through this training. I taught my first class the weekend after the final exam and now teach regular classes online and in person. I feel confident in the teachings and my ability to deliver them, and I highly recommend training with Jai Inder and the Karam Kriya School.
